The burning question of the century - should the toilet paper roll so that it feeds from the top or the bottom?
My personal preference is that it should roll from the top. To me, it's easier to grasp and pull. Also, if it's patterned toilet paper, rolling from the top allows the paper design to show.
Now, my mother thinks the opposite. She thinks it should roll from the bottom because the TP that hangs down is "out of the way".
At my house, it doesn't usually matter, though, because we seldom seem to have the toilet paper on the roller - more of a reach and grab from where it's sitting on top of the roll. Yes, we are lazy!

i thought i could never write about toilet paper - because most of the time the roll isn´t where it belongs - but now i see: i am not the only one :-)
Yes, sometimes the roll must sit and wait until we are good and ready to load it!
Now snatch and grab - thats another whole new conversation - do you stand the TP up or leave it lying on its side - where do you position it ready to sntach and grab - so you return it to its original postion or do you place it in your own signature position.
Life sure is a mystery.
Interesting how you're different from your mother. My sister and I differ on this too. I'm definitely over the top.

I'm terrible about putting the roll on a roller too. We are the grab and tear type family too!
